While I usually dread going to any dentist, anytime and anywhere, my first visit here was better than I imagined. The administrative staff started things off on the right foot by being cheerful and helpful. My hygienist, Crystal, was very good, and she lightened up the whole experience. Dr. Reynolds was friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this practice.
I recently moved to Winston-Salem and am thrilled to have found Kenneth R. Russell DDS and his amazing staff! After using the same dentist in another state for over 20 years, I was skeptical that I would find anyone as good, BUT I DID! Incredibly competent and friendly staff. Dr. Reynolds did a wonderful job fixing my chipped front tooth. It looks better than it did before! He took his time and made sure I was happy with the outcome. This office is open on Saturdays, so that’s a plus if you can’t take off work during the week. Every employee has been nice and helpful to our family in our two years at this office, and we would highly recommend it to others.

My first visit – everyone was pleasant, informative and professional. The facility was beautiful and clean. It was just for x-rays and an assessment. My second visit – I walked in apprehensive and a bit fearful, but I walked out restored to the “old me”. I previously had a very bad dental experience with a different local dentist. No dentist should ever hurt you. I would refer anyone to Dr. Russell. He’s attentive, takes the time to talk to you, and explains what he’s doing.
Every staff member I encountered made me feel comfortable and at ease. I love this office so much that I drive from Charlotte, NC to them. I refuse to change dental offices.
If you come to this place, you’re guaranteed to be taken care of like family! Dr. Russell and his associates and everyone who works in this building are very helpful and very kind. I’ve never had a dentist that I trusted so much. They are very honest people and do a great job, but most of all, they’re not trying to rob your wallet. They help you manage things with your insurance so that it won’t be ridiculous to get some work done. I’ve only been seeing them for the past month, and I’ve had three appointments thus far. My experience has been great every time. They work in a timely manner and don’t keep you waiting all day. They really have a great thing going here. And if you’re anything like me, you drive about any distance to have a good dentist. Currently I’m driving about 30 minutes each time one way to come visit this place, and I can tell you it’s worth every minute of travel. I’m recommending everyone I know to this place because he’s just that good!

I went for the first time in seven years today to a dentist, and it was a great experience. Dr. Kenneth Russell is very polite and was also gentle. Great bedside manner. The tech who did my x-rays was wonderful. Front desk was polite as well. I’m not nervous about what I need done, and I’d highly recommended them.
As usual, as much as I dislike going to the dentist, going to see Dr. Russell and all his staff is such a delight. Everyone is so friendly, and even though I was there to have a specific problem checked, after not having been to see them in quite a while, it was like coming home. Thank you for being so kind and patient with an old lady who still is “scared of the dentist”!
I couldn’t ask for more. I am extremely pleased with everything about this practice. The cleanings, the advice, the personalities. The doctor is phenomenal, and I have not once had a negative experience. I’ve only been coming three years and have moved 45 minutes away, but I will continue to make the drive.
Katie is an excellent dental hygienist; she told me some small things that I could do to improve my dental health and was very gentle and very personable; it was a pleasure meeting her. I would recommend Dr. Russell and his team to anyone needing a dentist or who is dissatisfied with their current dentist.
I think some would agree that a visit to the dentist is not one that most people are excited for. However, Vicky, the staff, and Dr. Russell himself make your visit with them feel like going to your favorite family’s for a visit. Their office provides such a personal feel, which reduces that anxiety felt towards going to the dentist. You don’t feel like you’re just another patient with them. You and your long-term care matter to them. Dr. Russell is open and honest with his opinion about handling your dental needs and what’s best for you. I’m not from N.C., and am glad I found his practice for my long-term dental care, which they have provided me with for well over 18 years now. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so!

Professional and relaxed. My crown was done nicely, with the least amount of pain and time for that type of procedure I believe! Dentist Kenneth Russell was friendly and easy to talk to. His assistant was very nice and friendly also. They did listen to me and try to make me as comfortable as possible. I recommend him and his practice. His desk people, who did appointments, charges, payments, etc., were very nice. (I guess the only thing missing was a walk to my door and a big hug and kiss! Just kidding.) You can’t go wrong with this dentist!

I’m very selective when looking for a dentist. Not only must they have excellent skills, but they must also be conservative. Their office must be user-friendly and staff must be competent. This means I have high expectations. Dr. Russell and his staff surpass my requirements. It took a while to get a same-day appointment for me and my wife, but it was well worth the wait. The new patient examination is quite extensive. They even do a high-tech check for cancer cells. Dr. Russell and his staff blew us away. I highly recommend this wonderful practice to meet your needs.
Exactly what I was hoping for! Friendly staff, a beautiful location, collaboration on options and an efficient appointment. I am new to the area and was looking for new doctors. I found them through my insurance, and after I had had a unfriendly experience at another location (different company), this was so refreshing, and I am so happy I did not return to the other dentist’s office. I made a great choice. Now I’m looking forward to getting my work done. They even helped me understand insurance plans so I can pick a great back-up option for supplemental insurance. I have been through 4 dentists in my life, but Dr. Russell’s office has been the best one. The office is filled with very friendly hygienists and admin staff. Dr. Russell is kind, good listener, and very knowledgeable as well. I was impressed with their new x-ray machine that made x-rays quick and easy with no uncomfortable bite-wings to move around in your mouth. I have sensitive teeth, and they are diligent to be careful as they clean uncomfortable areas of my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Russell!

The entire staff was friendly and professional, the technology and techniques were all up to date, the physical environment was pleasant, and the two hygienists worked as a team to provide the most thorough cleaning and dental exam I’ve ever had.

I was not satisfied with my two other dentists, so I decided to come to Dr. Russell. The staff has been very friendly, helpful, and, above all, competent in dealing with dental needs. Every time I went to my other dentist, there was always something that had to be done to my teeth, like a cavity or working on alignment because of bite. It became a very expensive experience. I felt very uncomfortable with their work, and after a while I started to distrust their recommendations. I had never had dental issues like these before. Dr. Russell showed me exactly what’s going on and what to watch for with my teeth. I rarely have problems even though I’m older now and my teeth should be more challenging. It is nice and comforting to go to a dentist I trust.

All of the hygienists are extremely professional and do a great job making you comfortable during your visit and ensure that you are relaxed if you have any concerns. I just love Dr. Russell! I reluctantly had to leave my lifelong dentist because they didn’t accept my new insurance. I was extremely upset.
